How are you doing?
My name is Thomas Jeff from SC. I actually observed my wife has
been viewing your website on my laptop and i guess she likes
your piece of work, I'm also impressed to have seen your
different piece of works too, : ) You are doing an amazing job.
I would like to receive more information about your piece of
artwork and what inspires you. I am very much interested in the
purchase of the piece of art (in subject field above) to
surprise my wife. Kindly reply for the availability for
immediate sales.
Thanks and blessing,
Thomas

How did you know it was a scam?

A friend of mine received a similar message and she also thinks it's a scam.

I have just received this same email today ,as I ignored another email from Samuel Roland ,I am assuming both are the same person ,ignore them ,a real client will never approach you in this bold and rude manner.

I have also recently been receiving from Thomas Jeff inquiring about art on my website. I live in the UK and my website is quite new so when I received "my wife really likes your work can I buy one as a wedding anniversary present $1500-£2000" it was flattering but then the same sort of email several times. After a few I realised it was strange and asked him questions and got no reply these, and checked on the web for anything about him. There is a website ripandscam.com I think maybe he is one there.
