I am an artist at AOM and I get art "overload" too.
I try to take it slow. You have to be resigned to the fact it's going to take several days to see AOM - plus if you don't come at different times, you miss out on different performances.
I love AOM. It's the only place I haven't felt like I had to censor myself and my art.
