Lenny: With all due respect to our old pal George, Best Practices specify a nationwide search for a qualified arts professional. George's hat should certainly be in that ring; he can hold his own against the competition.

The very first thing we need to tell Mayor Fenty: No More Cronies at DCCAH. Mayor Barry installed a crony and the only public arts agency in DC spent 12 years using public money to mount dubious programs in competiton with its own constituency, DC arts orgs.
