um, well, i like the idea of updating a dated a photo, but unless you are trying to toughen up your image with the kris kristofferson (sic) dui mug shot aesthetic, i would keep searching for a better picture. (of course, you look loads better than the kk police mug - i'm speaking to the technique here!)

I like the first one, second one is too much like a perp shot. I need another choice. Perhaps an arty shot with interesting lighting.
Just photoshop a few horizontal black lines in the background, and you're good to go! The mug shot notion will create a sexy sense of danger.
I also like the idea of an update - and eye contact, but the new one is a bit mugshot-like. Another choice would be good.
this should be an 'opportunity for artists' - create the new portrait of Lenny Campello. The Daily Campello could randomly switch out portraits to keep fresh the title block
I like the new you, but agree it's a little "muggish"
