Florida'ng

Still baking down here; good sun and great Cuban food (later I will tell you one of the best and cheapest Cuban food joints in all of the Greater Miami area, with terrific food, amazing prices and huge portions: the way Cuban food is supposed to be).

Also a mini review (maybe) of the art galleries and stores passing as art galleries along Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.

Yeah, but how are their burritos . . .
Have you been to KubaKuba here in Richmond?

Hi Foust...

And yes! I have been to KubaKuba and they are pretty good!

Their food is good, although I must say that there were a couple of cultural gaffes when I went there... such as when I sat down, they gave me chips and salsa... which is a Mexican thing, not a Cuban food item... also, they serve their black beans and rice together... and Cubans always serve the black beans (the Moors) separate from the white rice (the Spaniards) and it is the person eating them who mixes them up.
