Leah Macdonald work with his curiosity and exploration of woman is astonishing. I love how the photographs seem to look so old fashioned with a modern twist. With embellishing the photographs with layers of beeswax, colored wax, painting, and drawing brings his true emotions to the photograph . It’s almost like he is telling us a story about the subject in the painting. It’s like he is almost decorating his environment, therefore choosing the women to be nude. You can definitely tell he is a very sexual and passionate human being. Each photo the women are portrayed differently. Some of the photos are very passionate with the color and the way the subject is posed. And other photographs the subject seems insecure or unrecognizable and the use of color is darker or no color at all. One of the photos called, “The Horses Gallop” is probably one of my favorites. The subject seems to be a mean spirited woman standing behind a sheer drapery with a slight blue tint to her. Over the photograph a poem is written in almost an angry, sad typography. Obviously this woman hurt him and you can see that immediately in the photo.
