About the masks series:
Referencing
the traditional ritual ‘Diablos de Yare’ from Venezuela, David Camero’s
“Traditional Yare Masks and Other Actions Masks” exhibit at Sitar Arts
Center’s Cafritz gallery attempts to capture the cultural aspects of a
long-standing tradition while also making the artwork accessible to a
modern audience. The colorful masks will make for a truly unique exhibit
that will awe and inspire the Sitar community.
